Yevgeniy Timoshenko and Olivier Busquet are known as two of the most deliberate and calculating players on the circuit and this nearly 10 minute hand was no exception. With the flop reading and 43,000 chips in the middle, Timoshenko bet 17,000. Busquet studied intently for a minute or so before making it 45,000 to go. Not to be outdone, Timoshenko paused and thought things over for at least five minutes before making the call. The players both checked when the turn came and the dealer flipped up the on the river. Timoshenko wnet into the tank yet again, sitting motionless while staring his opponent down. After reflecting, Timoshenko made a smallish bet of 22,500 and Busquet quickly called. Timoshenko's was good enough to drag the pot and he took an early lead in this heads-up duel.
