Event 13: $1,500 Limit Hold'em

Flush No Good for Sugar Bear

When we got to the table, Al "Sugar Bear" Barbieri was in the middle of a big pot on the turn, with the board reading {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, and it appeared that Barbieri was considering whether to call a fourth bet from his opponent. He tossed in the call, and checked in the dark going to the river, which was the {4-Hearts}. His opponent bet out, and Barbieri beat him into the pot. His opponent showed {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a full house, and Barbieri angrily mucked {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for the nut flush face up. Despite the hit, it's been a great day for Barbieri so far, as he's up to 70,000.
