So far it seems like Brian Hastings and Joe Cassidy haven't found a way to do it because Phil Ivey is taking his table apart. He just won back to back hands and increased his chip leader even more so.
On the first hand Ivey raised from the small blind to 16,000 and Cassidy called from the big. The board came down and Cassidy ended up calling bets on every street.
Ivey turned over and scooped the pot knocking Cassidy down to 270,000 chips.
The very next hand Hastings raised to 16,000 from the hijack and Ivey three-bet him from the button to 24,000. Both blinds folded and Hastings called down on a board. Ivey showed him in order to scoop the pot with a full house.
Ivey is good, but if he's getting cards he's truly unstoppable! So far everyone is trailing the eight-time World Series of Poker champion who will be going for number nine today.
