A short stacked Jon Turner was found moved to the death table, and quickly opted to move all in from late position for 1,225 after action had folded around to him. Kirill Kruglov in the cut off attempted to make the call, but accidentally min raised after he threw out too many chips. Ivey folded on the button and the small blind player raised and made it a couple more thousand for Kruglov if he wanted to see a flop. Kruglov folded and cards were tabled.
Turner was in bad shape and needed lady luck to help him out. A flop led to Turner politely calling for hearts, but to no avail as a landed on the turn. Turner now had a gut shot, if a nine was nice enough to grace the felt with its presence Turner would receive the double up he so very needed.
